HI! I am AVIE! Boy! Do I have a story to tell you. Just a month ago, I was dumped at a local pet clinic, covered in ticks. My family decided to leave me there because the kids in the family were beating me. I was just a little puppy! I was so scared that I was shaking!!! Westside found me, took one look at me & decided they just had to save me. WHEW! Did I get lucky or what?! When my foster mom came to pick me up, I was so scared she had to carry me out to the car. I was literally petrified. I just huddled in my crate & wouldn't come out. It was just too much for me. She took me home and after just one day I started feeling much better. My first night, I had a big shepherd sister to cuddle up to and I just knew I was now in a safe place where no one would ever hurt me again. I also found out there are things called toys, treats, and kisses. WOW! My foster mom is so nice....I also have three big sister dogs to romp with, I feel so much better!! I love to play, and run around the yard with the “big girls”, I feel like one of them even though I’m still a little girl. I thought about sending my old family a postcard, but I don’t miss them at all. I’m ready for my next adventure and can’t wait to find my forever home! I am 4-5 months old, housetrained, and I know basic commands like sit & down, and I wait patiently for my food. I would love a family with other dogs to play with. I’m sweet, kind, and lovable and looking forward to finding my forever family.
